Obedience

An obedient dog is a happy dog. Not only does the dog benefit from being well behaved, but it also makes our lives easier as owners. Sit, here, heel and kennel are a few basic commands we can perfect with almost any dog. At the park, beach or campground you’ll be able to enjoy your pet knowing you have full control over him or her at all times.

Obedience classes are offered as a boarding program and as an at home service. One-on-one sessions are also available. 

Gun Dogs

Training a gun dog is a step by step process. We start with a solid foundation and continue to build on it as we advance. With access to thousands of acres of farm land, multiple ponds, and lakes, dogs will be exposed to many different environments, terrains and hunting situations. Introduction to gun fire, blinds, live birds and many other real-life hunting scenarios are all a part of the program. A driven, obedient, and well-trained retriever adds enjoyment and satisfaction to all our outdoor adventures. Whether it be upland, waterfowl, shed hunting or UKC and AKC sanctioned hunt tests, we can customize a training regimen for you and your pup.

Breeding

Here at PRR we breed for one reason and one reason only, to benefit the breed. All health clearances and certifications must be met. Our dogs are great companions, and are bred to be champions in the field and in the home.
